NBGM and USGS LIDAR Data Survey

Your input is needed. 

At the recent Nevada State Mapping Advisory committee held in conjunction with the NGIS conference, Tom Sturm (USGS Geospatial Liaison, now retired) discussed the National Enhanced Elevation Assessment project and followed the meeting with a request for updates to his inventory of LiDAR and other high-resolution topo projects for Nevada. LiDAR imagery was also further discussed during the open discussion at the SMAC meeting with regard to its importance for various applications such as landslides, floods, and earthquakes.

As a continuation of Tom's initial efforts, Luke Opperman (Division Of Water Resources) is maintaining the inventory and has made it available for download on the SMAC website at http://www.nbmg.unr.edu/SMAC/smac.htm.  Please send any updates to the inventory to Luke at lopperman [at] water [dot] nv [dot] gov.
